Hi Gemma,
I've been working on something I'm really excited about and I want to give you a heads up before I move forward. I think this could become a really meaningful new revenue stream for the practice alongside our existing menopause and GLP-1 services. I'm not asking you to sign off on it clinically — this sits entirely within lifestyle data analysis and recommendations from me — but I want you to see it and share your thoughts.
I've built a personalised health intelligence platform that takes all of a client's health data — body composition, blood work, genetics, methylation, biological age — and compiles it into a comprehensive, visually stunning dashboard with personalised recommendations covering nutrition, exercise, shopping lists, meal plans, and lifestyle.
The idea is to offer this as a premium add-on service for clients who are already coming to us for GLP-1 prescriptions, menopause management, etc. They're already motivated and investing in their health. This gives them something genuinely useful that they can't get anywhere else.
Stage 1 — The Free Hook (Body Composition Report):
When a client comes in for a consultation and we do a Tanita Pro scan, I produce a personalised body composition analysis report for them. This is normally something we'd charge £25 for but we give it to them free as a value-add. Here's the one I've just built for Caroline Abbott — have a scroll through it, it's quite impressive:
👉 View Caroline's Body Composition Report
It includes her full scan data, percentile rankings vs her age group, segmental analysis, BMI classification, personalised insights, and a transformation roadmap.
Stage 2 — The Full Dashboard (What It Can Become):
I then show them what the FULL version looks like — with blood work, genetics, nutrition plans, exercise programming, shopping lists, the lot. I've built a complete example dashboard under a fully anonymised name ("James Harrison" from Derby) so there are no data protection issues. Have a proper look through this one — it's the full ticket:
👉 View James Harrison Full Health Dashboard (12 sections)
Includes: Body composition, blood tests, genetics & methylation pathways, personalised nutrition with shopping lists & pricing, exercise programming, daily wellness protocols, sleep optimisation, hernia recovery, and full recommendations.
I've also built anonymised body composition reports for three other people (different ages, genders, body types) that I use as demonstration material:
(All names anonymised. These are real client data under fictional names for GDPR compliance.)
To get the full dashboard, clients commit to the diagnostic testing suite through Stride: comprehensive bloods, methylation analysis, and GlycanAge biological age testing. They pay our sales price for the tests — which includes our margin, so we're generating revenue even on the pilot. The dashboard build, ongoing data review, personalised recipes, shopping lists, meal plans, and exercise recommendations are all provided by me (Ade) at no extra charge during the pilot phase.
I want to pilot this with a small number of carefully selected clients. I've identified Caroline Abbott as the first candidate because:
The pilot offer for selected clients:
Without the Stride testing commitment, Tanita Pro body composition scans are available to any client at £25 per visit. The free weekly scans are the incentive to commit to the full programme.
This is the bit I feel strongly about. You'll know better than anyone the horror stories about "Ozempic face" and "Ozempic body" — people losing weight on GLP-1s but also losing muscle mass, bone density, skin elasticity, and hair quality. They end up looking gaunt and aged rather than healthy. With someone like Caroline who has 49.7 kg of muscle (top 15% for her age), losing that muscle alongside the fat would be a disaster — and it's exactly what happens when people just focus on the scales.
Without the testing, clients are basically pissing in the wind. They're guessing what to eat, guessing how to train, and hoping for the best. The methylation testing changes everything because it tells us exactly:
Combined with the comprehensive bloods and GlycanAge, we can build her a genuinely personalised programme — specific recipes tailored to her genetics, shopping lists based on what her body actually needs, exercise plans that target what works for her specifically, and dietary preferences that align with her unique biology. This isn't generic "eat less, move more" advice. It's precision health.
The goal isn't just weight loss — it's total transformation: lose fat, preserve and build muscle, strengthen bones, improve skin quality, boost energy, optimise sleep, and reverse that metabolic age from 61 back below 54. We're building a better, healthier version of her, not just a thinner one.
The dashboard and testing programme creates a natural pathway to upsell pretty much everything else we offer. Once a client is engaged, seeing their data, and trusting the process, these conversations happen completely organically:
The dashboard creates data-driven upsell conversations that feel helpful rather than salesy:
None of these are hard sells. They flow naturally from the data and the client's own goals. The dashboard makes every recommendation feel evidence-based. And every single one generates additional revenue.
The dashboard build itself is mostly automated through the platform I've built — so the time investment per client is minimal once we have the template. The real revenue comes from the test margins, the £250 dashboard fee (post-pilot), upsold treatments and devices, and the ongoing client retention as they keep coming back for prescriptions, scans, treatments, and repeat testing.
Here's where I think this gets really powerful, and where I'd love your involvement.
I want to create recorded video content — short, punchy pieces for TikTok, Instagram Reels, Meta, LinkedIn, and email campaigns — that walk through the dashboard using anonymised demo data and hammer home the message: if you're on Mounjaro or Ozempic and you're not tracking what's happening to your muscle, bone density, skin, and overall health, you're guessing. The methylation and blood testing gives you the actual roadmap.
Here's the key: I want YOU to present this content, not me. When clients see a doctor walking them through the data and explaining what it means, the perceived value goes through the roof. They think they're getting the doctor's analysis and expertise — and that's a premium positioning that justifies premium pricing. You explaining someone's metabolic age or why their trunk muscle rating matters is 10x more powerful than me saying the same thing.
The content itself is straightforward — I'll prepare all the scripts, the data points, the key messages. You just present it. We'd use the anonymised demo data we already have (the links above — different ages, genders, body types) to show how the analysis adapts for different people. Each video could be 60-90 seconds, covering one specific angle:
Distribution across TikTok, Instagram Reels, Meta (tied to our existing ad spend), LinkedIn (professional credibility), and direct email campaigns. This positions DoctoriumGP as genuinely different from every other clinic that just hands over a prescription and sends people on their way. We're the clinic that actually understands your biology.
We're sitting on a goldmine we haven't tapped. I don't think we should limit this to GLP-1 clients. I think we should be reaching out to our ENTIRE existing client base — everyone on our books — with a simple message: "Come into the clinic for a free 5-minute Tanita Pro body composition scan. We'll produce your personalised body composition report and email it to you. No charge, no obligation."
That gives us the hook into our existing database before we even spend a penny on new client acquisition. Once they've seen their data — their metabolic age, their muscle mass, their body fat distribution — the natural next step is "how do I improve this?" And that's where the full programme, the Stride testing, and all the upsells come in.
Think about how many clients we already have on our books who we could re-engage with this. Every single person who's ever come to us for menopause, weight management, health checks — they all get the invitation. It's a 5-minute scan, it costs us nothing to deliver, and it opens the door to the full programme.
And beyond our own database: I have access to approximately 13,000 Instagram handles from the Newsome Health database. These are people who've already shown interest in health services. The plan is to cross-reference these with LinkedIn to identify high-net-worth individuals — the people most likely to invest in premium health analytics. We cherry-pick the best prospects, send them the video content (doctor-presented, premium feel), and drive them to the free Tanita scan offer. That's potentially thousands of warm leads before we've spent a penny on new advertising.
All demonstration materials use fully anonymised data. The example full dashboard uses a fictional name ("James Harrison" from Derby) with no identifiable patient information. We have four other anonymised body composition reports covering different demographics. Any case studies from the pilot would follow the same approach — for example, "Sarah, 54, from Derby" rather than any real identifying details. Client data is stored securely and not shared with third parties.
I'm not asking for clinical sign-off on this — the recommendations I provide are lifestyle-based and don't carry your name. But I would value:
I'm going to move forward with sending this to Caroline in the next day or two, so let me know if you have any concerns. Otherwise, I'll keep you updated on how it goes.
Happy to walk you through the full dashboard on a quick video call whenever suits — it's much more impressive when you can scroll through all 12 sections live. The links above should give you a good feel for the body composition reports in the meantime.
